As the bell rang, Allie pulled Lizzy out of the bathroom. “Come on we need to hurry or we will be late for class.” As they rushed to the classroom, Allie confided, “Witchcraft is very much real here in Louisiana. I am surprised you haven’t heard the stories about the Nightmare Witch. She was caught stealing children over a hundred years ago. She was hanged for her crimes, but they say she cursed the whole town and if you aren’t careful she will come after you in your sleep.”
